From the New York Runaway Spring Hair Trends that work…

28 Feb

It seems like all my posts this week have been about spring…i think warmer weather is on my mind. So today, I thought I share some of the hair looks from the 2013 New York Fashion week.  So sometimes runway hairstyles are fun to look at but don’t necessarily translate well off the runway when you don’t have a team of stylists at the ready. lol.  Well..this season, there was no question that wearable looks had a major presence. Here are some examples from Bazaar & Glamour magazine’s Pinterest boards:

We saw new ways to wear your ponytail (think low and wide),

braid your braid (try a crisscross direction),

slick your part and tie a knot (tight!).

And perhaps the most captivating trend this season and my favorite? Hair accessories inspired by everything from blossoming flowers to sporty bands to beekeeper’s headpieces, for when you want to just slip something on and make a statement.

So what do you think?  Will you try any of these hair trends?  I know I will…they are very wearable.

Happy thursday folks!
